Working Principle of AIRTAC 2V Pilot-Operated Solenoid Valves (2V130 / 2V250)

AIRTAC 2V130 / 2V250 are pilot-operated normally closed 2/2-way solenoid valves, with a completely different principle from the direct-acting 2V025.

1. الهيكل الأساسي (Pilot-operated = Small valve controls large valve)

It consists of two internal parts:

1. Pilot spool (small coil, small orifice)
2. Main spool (large diaphragm/piston, controls main flow path)

The coil only opens the pilot orifice without directly lifting the main valve seat — the main valve is opened by the pressure of the medium itself.

2. De-energized (Normally Closed)

Coil de-energized, pilot orifice closed

Pressure above diaphragm = pressure below diaphragm

Diaphragm pressed against main seat by spring + ضغط

→ Main air/water path fully closed, no medium flow

3. Energized (Open)
4. Coil energized, pilot spool actuated
5. Pilot orifice opens
6. Pressure above diaphragm releases rapidly
