This side-mounted IEC 60947-5-1 Annex L mirror contact module (1NO+1 mirror NC) is exclusively for DILM250~DILM1000 and DILH high-power contactors. It is mainly used in safety-related control circuits, high-power motor control and fault diagnosis feedback, and cannot be replaced by standard auxiliary contacts for safety validation.

The mirror NC contact is wired into the EDM channel of the safety relay to monitor welding/sticking of the contactor main contacts. If the NC fails to reset after coil de-energization, the safety relay triggers a lockout. It meets ISO 13849 PLd/PLe and SIL2/3, which is the standard solution for Eaton ESR, Pilz and Schneider XPS safety circuits.

The mirror NC of each contactor is wired in series into the coil circuit of the opposing contactor, forming hardwired interlock to prevent simultaneous closure and phase-to-phase short circuit. For DILM high-power contactors, safety auditors will not approve ordinary auxiliary contacts for this interlock.

UND: NC is a certified mirror contact. It stays open when main contacts are welded, satisfying ISO 13849 PLd / SIL2-3 and approved for safety relay EDM loops.

An: Only mechanical positive interlock without welding test certification. Only for ordinary control; rejected by safety audits.
