- Non-flush mounting is mandatory. The sensing face must protrude at least 10 mm from the metal mounting surface; avoid large-area metal interference within 30 mm around the sensor.
- Turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase sensing distance, counterclockwise to decrease it. Max distance can be set for water/plastic detection; reduce distance for paper/thin wood panels.
- Oil stains and water mist adhering to the sensing face will shorten the sensing distance; regular cleaning is required.
- Switching frequency is only 10 Hz, not suitable for high-speed production lines. Optimal for low-speed material handling and liquid level monitoring.
