- The iFlex flexible coil measures AC only, DC measurements must use the meter’s physical jaws.
- Enabling the VFD filter reduces bandwidth; disable it for standard power-frequency measurements.
- In-Rush mode captures transient startup events and shall not be used for steady-state readings.
- Second-hand inspection checklist: Undamaged jaws, intact iFlex coil, functional Bluetooth, sound lead insulation, valid calibration status.

- 375-FC: 600A upper limit
Suitable for most low-voltage distribution panels, motors and loads up to 400A. iFlex coil is sold separately. Cost-effective for routine plant maintenance where 600A is sufficient.
- 376-FC: 1000A jaw + factory-fitted iFlex

Second-hand Purchase Notes
Many used 375-FC units do not include iFlex. Genuine complete 376-FC units come with the i2500-18 flexible coil.
For both models verify: VFD filter function, In-Rush mode, Bluetooth connectivity, jaw movement and lead insulation integrity.

Feature sets are nearly identical: VFD filter, In-Rush surge, Fluke-Connect Bluetooth and DC-mV are all present. Application gaps stem from two core points:
① Maximum jaw current: 600A AC/DC for 375-FC; 1000A AC/DC for 376-FC
② iFlex is factory-supplied on 376-FC but must be purchased separately for 375-FC.
🟢 375-FC Application Scope (600A jaw, iFlex optional)
For general-purpose plant maintenance with steady-state load current ≤600A and rare >600A DC measurements.
- Medium-small VFD-driven motors: 30-200 kW motors, MCC cabinets; measure operating current, startup inrush and VFD output (VFD filter enabled).
- General low-voltage distribution panels: Feeder circuits, ≤400A molded-case breaker loops; routine inspection and preventive maintenance with data logging.
- DC-side work: DC power panels, small-capacity UPS and DC busbars, for DC currents no higher than 600A.
- Edifici commerciali, HVAC and general equipment commissioning: iFlex probe may be purchased later if occasional high-AC-current measurement is needed.
- Maintenance teams: Majority circuits sit below 600A; cost-optimized choice when iFlex is not used daily.
⚠️ 375-FC Limitations
Jaw DC measurement is capped at 600A. DC above this value cannot be measured (iFlex works for AC only).
Flexible coil is not supplied; extra procurement required for large cables or tight-fit busbar measurements.
🔴 376-FC Application Scope (1000A jaw, iFlex standard)
Targets high-current scenarios, frequent 600-1000A AC/DC measurements and regular flexible-probe usage for large cables / sbarre.
- Heavy-duty industrial motors: 200-450 kW motors with operating current at or above 600A; motor inrush testing and high-power VFD circuit diagnostics.
- High-power UPS, low-voltage busbars and incoming cabinets: Transformer secondary and 800-1000A incoming-feed circuits; direct high-DC-current readings via main jaws.
- PV and energy-storage PCS converters: Mixed AC-DC environments; capable of near-1000A DC readings which cannot be achieved by the 375-FC.
- Frequent iFlex-probe deployments: Congested cable trays, busbars and oversized cables that cannot fit within standard jaws; 2500A-AC measurement capability available immediately out-of-box.

Common Field Pitfall Reminder
The iFlex flexible probe measures AC only.
👉 High DC current must always use the meter’s hard jaws regardless of model; flexible coils offer no DC capability.
Therefore for energy-storage / PCS DC-side currents above 600A, the 375-FC will overflow; 376-FC is mandatory.
