Chint NXBLE63 – 2P/C40 is a 2 – pole (2P) miniature residual current circuit breaker. Its main parameters and functions are as follows:

Core Parameters

Rated Current: 40A (“C40indicates that the tripping characteristic is Type C and the rated current is 40A);

Pole Number: 2P (cuts off both the live wire and the neutral wire simultaneously);

Residual Current Protection: AC type (detects ordinary AC leakage). The residual operating current is usually 30mA (an industry conventional value, and some models support options such as 50mA/75mA);

Breaking Capacity: 6kA (can safely cut off circuits with a shortcircuit current of not less than 6000A);

Applicable Voltage: 230V (for singlephase circuits);

Mechanical/Electrical Life: The mechanical life is 20,000 times, and the electrical life is 10,000 times.

Main Functions

  1. Residual Current Protection: When there is electric shock to the human body (current ≥ 30mA) or equipment leakage in the circuit, the power supply is quickly cut off within 0.1 second to prevent electric shock casualties;
  2. Overload Protection: If the circuit load is too large (current exceeds 40A), it will automatically disconnect to avoid overheating and fire of the circuit;
  3. ShortCircuit Protection: When a short circuit occurs in the circuit (current increases sharply in an instant), the circuit is cut off immediately to protect electrical appliances and the circuit;
