Indoor installation: Choose 3XIH1-I12A (without sheds)
Easier installation requirement: Adopt RAYCHEM cold-shrink terminal (RST series), no heating tool needed
5.3 Application Precautions
- Check cable insulation condition before installation to ensure no damage and no moisture.
- Strictly follow installation manual; control heating temperature at 300-350℃ and heating time.
- Clean and polish core insulation surface tightly to ensure close fitting of heat-shrink tube.
- Reliably connect shielding grounding wire to guarantee electrical safety.
- Perform insulation test and partial discharge test after installation; put into operation only after qualified.
- Applicable for overhead, tunnel, cable trench and other outdoor / semi-outdoor occasions; not suitable for underwater use.
