Motors with electromagnetic brake: Brake coil requires independent 24 VDC supply. Brake release logic shall be controlled via external relay. Do not power brake from servo drive.

Use dedicated MR-J4 encoder cable. Fully insert CN2 connector and lock latch. Route encoder cable away from power cables. Avoid sharp bending or pulling. MR-J3 encoder cables are NOT compatible with MR-J4 drives.
Step 5: Digital I/O CN1 & Pulse Interface CN3 (Position-pulse control)
