6 Operating Conditions & Limitations
Applicable systems: Low-side liquid level regulation in refrigeration, freezing and air-conditioning systems
Suitable refrigerants: Ammonia (R717) and common fluorocarbons (R22, R134a, R404A, etc.)
Not recommended: Use with flammable hydrocarbons (contact Danfoss if required)
PED classification: Category II, compliant with European Pressure Equipment Directive
7 Installation & Entretien
- Float setting
Rotate main spindle counterclockwise until valve closes (audible click)
Rotate clockwise until valve opens (audible and tactile feedback)
Rotate an additional ½ turn to complete setting and mark position
- Filter cleaning: Inspect and clean filter regularly to ensure stable flow
- Seal kit: Spare part number 027B2070, includes all required seals
- Special orifices: For reduced capacity, replace orifice (1.0–2.8 mm available), spare part numbers 027B2080–027B2083
