1. Thread mounting: Tighten with 5/16-24 nut. Do not over-torque the fiber root to avoid breakage of glass fiber.
2. Bending control: Cable routing with bend radius ≥25 mm; sharp bending is prohibited.
3. End face maintenance: Oil and dust contamination on brass tip will attenuate optical signal. Clean fiber end face with anhydrous ethanol.
4. Selection reminder: The fiber probe cannot output switching signal independently; fiber amplifier is required for PLC connection.

중요사항: BT26S is a passive fiber probe with no fixed detection range. Sensing distance depends on paired fiber amplifier (DF-G1 / DF-G2 / DF-G3), and is heavily affected by reflectivity of target object.

Typical Test Data (Paired with Banner DF-G3 high-power amplifier, white high-reflectivity target)

Reliable operating range: 0～150 mm

Maximum trigger distance: 대략. 200 mm

For low-reflectivity black workpiece, effective distance drops significantly, typically 0～50 mm.

Key Characteristics

1. No built-in lens; fiber bundle diameter 3.2 mm with relatively large beam divergence. The farther the distance, the larger the spot and faster optical attenuation.
2. Banner official datasheet does not specify fixed rated range; only Excess Gain curve is provided. Model selection must refer to excess gain curve instead of fixed range value.
