1. Bill of Materials

2. Pre-Welding Preparation
3. Pipe cutout

Drill hole on pipe sidewall matching E43301 OD Ø29mm. Deburr and polish hole edge to avoid weld residue.

Recommended pipe material: 1.4435 / 316엘. E43301 is sanitary fitting. Use orbital GTAW / TIG clean welding only. After welding, polish internal surface and perform acid passivation to meet sanitary Ra requirement.

3. Installation position selection (비판적인)

우선의: Vertical rising pipe, medium flows upward to maintain full pipe and eliminate air bubbles.

Horizontal pipe: Mount sensor tilted downward, ≤45° from horizontal. Never install vertically upward at pipe high point (air pocket causes measurement drift).

Straight pipe requirement: Maintain ≥5× pipe diameter straight run upstream and downstream of sensor. Keep away from elbows, valves and reducers to avoid flow disturbance.

Core rule: Sensor tip must be fully immersed in flowing medium, electrode continuously flushed; no air pocket allowed.

4. 청소

After weld cooling, thoroughly remove weld slag, oil and metal debris from E43301 internal thread, cone surface and pipe interior. Acid passivation is recommended for clean piping.

3. Mechanical Assembly (After weld boss cooling)

E43301 has internal G1/2 cone; LDL101 has external G1/2 cone. Metal cone-to-cone sealing with auxiliary PEEK sanitary ring; no extra gasket required.

1. Inspect LDL101 front PEEK seal ring for scratches, cracks or deformation. Check E43301 thread and sealing cone surface for damage.
2. Hand-thread LDL101 G1/2 male thread into E43301 internal thread, hand tighten until seated.
3. Torque wrench tightening: 권장 토크 20 N·m. Do not over-torque to prevent cone surface damage or thread stripping. Do not force tighten.
4. Final check: Probe fully inserted into pipe bore, electrodes fully immersed in flow path. Ensure no interference between sensor body and pipe/support.

Control heating/cooling rate gently during SIP to avoid thermal shock. Recheck reading after cooling post sterilization.
