Chint NXBLE63 – 2P/C40

Chint NXBLE63 – 2P/C40 is a 2 – pólo (2P) miniature residual current circuit breaker. Its main parameters and functions are as follows:

Core Parameters

Corrente nominal: 40UM (“C40” indicates that the tripping characteristic is Type C and the rated current is 40A);

Residual Current Protection: AC type (detects ordinary AC leakage). The residual operating current is usually 30mA (an industry conventional value, and some models support options such as 50mA/75mA);

Principais Funções

1. Residual Current Protection: When there is electric shock to the human body (current ≥ 30mA) or equipment leakage in the circuit, the power supply is quickly cut off within 0.1 second to prevent electric shock casualties;
2. Proteção contra sobrecarga: If the circuit load is too large (current exceeds 40A), it will automatically disconnect to avoid overheating and fire of the circuit;
3. Curto – Proteção de Circuito: When a short circuit occurs in the circuit (current increases sharply in an instant), the circuit is cut off immediately to protect electrical appliances and the circuit;
4. Função de isolamento: It can be used as a switch for infrequent on – off of the circuit under normal conditions.

Installation and Use Precautions

– It should be selected according to the actual load of the circuit to avoid “a big horse pulling a small cart” ou “a small horse pulling a big cart”;

– Pressione o “test button (T key)” once a month to verify whether the residual current protection function is normal;

– When installing, the live wire (eu) e o fio neutro (N) must be distinguished. If the wiring is reversed, the residual current protection function may fail.
