2. LOGOTIPO!Soft Comfort V8.4 (with V8.4.1 patch) é necessário. V8.3 software cannot recognize or download programs to 0BA2 units.

Upload and back up the original program from 0BA1 using V8.3. Save the raw `.lld` file permanently and do not overwrite it.

Open the project in V8.4, go to Tools → Change Device, target hardware: `LOGO! 230RCE 6ED1052-1FB08-0BA2`

Save as V8.4 format `.lsc`. Projects saved in V8.4 cannot be opened in V8.3. Keep the original backup separately.

3. Do not copy program files directly from the 0BA1 SD card to 0BA2: program files are version-incompatible and will trigger errors. Ethernet download is preferred.

Old web projects may have abnormal variable IDs, layout or refresh rate after import. Always test web pages online after download. MQTT tags are invisible on legacy web pages and need reconfiguration.

2. Registro de dados: CSV log format is compatible, but parsing rules for negative values and timestamps are slightly adjusted. Verify logs after running for a period.
3. Proteção por senha: Project passwords carry over during migration. Upload is impossible if the password is lost. Confirm the password before migration.
4. Function block limit: Both versions support 400 blocks, no capacity shortage.
5. Communication Focus (MQTT exclusive to 0BA2; Modbus TCP unchanged)
6. Modbus TCP: Register mapping, PI, porta, slave ID and timeout parameters generally remain unchanged. Read/write tests are mandatory after replacement. O 8.4 firmware fixes certain abnormal Modbus frames. Some older HMI/SCADA may experience intermittent disconnection; increase timeout on the master side.
7. MQTT is only available on 0BA2: 0BA1 has no MQTT function. Ignore if your original project does not use MQTT. Add MQTT client configuration within V8.4 if cloud connectivity is required later.
8. IP Address: Reuse the original IP, subnet mask and gateway to minimize changes to SCADA, HMI and touch panels. Factory default IP matches 0BA1, but connect via PC directly to set IP before powering on in the system to avoid IP conflict.

5. SD Card Notes

Format remains FAT32, standard MicroSD card supported.

Program files stored on the 0BA1 SD card cannot run directly on 0BA2. SD cards are only used for 0BA2 backup, firmware upgrade and log export within V8.4 environment.

Firmware: 0BA2 only accepts V8.4 firmware packages. 8.3 firmware cannot be flashed. Place firmware file in root directory without renaming.

7. Before shutdown: Upload full program from 0BA1 with V8.3 and save raw backup. Record IP, Modbus register map, web pages, TDE texts, real-time clock and daylight saving settings.
8. Desligar, remove 0BA1 and install 0BA2. Terminals are pin-to-pin compatible with no wiring changes.
9. Open converted project in V8.4 and confirm hardware model is updated to 0BA2.
10. Disconnect field loads first, ligar, download program, verify RTC, DI status and DO logic.
11. Test all communications: Modbus, web server and TDE display.
12. Enable field loads only after offline logic validation. Execute continuamente por 30 minutes to check timing stability and communication drops.
