Passive Insertion/Immersion Water Temperature Sensor of Symaro Series
Core element: Pt1000 (Class B per IEC751). Designed for siemes HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS) to measure liquid temperature in pipelines and water tanks. It does not come with an integrated thermowell and must be installed with a separate thermowell.

- Key Installation Specifications
- Thermowell Mandatory: Original ALT-SS100 stainless steel G½ thermowell is recommended. Weld G½ threaded seats on pipelines in advance. A minimum probe insertion depth of 60mm is required to guarantee measuring accuracy.
- Posição de montagem: Install 1.5~2m downstream of pump outlets or mixing valves with the probe facing the incoming water flow. The cable terminal side must not face upward to prevent water ingress.
- Response Optimization: Apply thermal grease between thermowell and probe to reduce thermal resistance.
- Fiação: Direct 2-wire connection to Pt1000 input terminals of DDC controllers (non-polarized). Shielded twisted pair cable is recommended to minimize interference.

VIII. Strict Installation Prohibitions
- Never immerse the bare probe directly into pipeline fluid without thermowell — risk of corrosion and non-detachable replacement.
- Medium pressure shall never exceed PN3. Select QAE2120 series with PN10 integrated thermowell for high-pressure pipelines.
- At least 90% of the probe shaft must be fully submerged in fluid; incomplete immersion leads to severe temperature deviation.
- Do not route sensor cables in the same trunking as power cables. Single-end earthing of shielding layer reduces electromagnetic interference.
- Medium temperature shall not exceed 130℃ even temporarily. High-temperature applications require high-temperature resistant thermowells.
