5A is the rated switching current. Avoid switching loads exceeding 6A continuously. Derate for motors and lighting loads with high inrush current.
- Do not drive coil via high-frequency PWM
Continuous PWM switching causes contact chatter and burnout. Select SSR solid-state relays for high-frequency control scenarios.
- Never mix AC & DC coil models
Powering DC coil relays with AC voltage leads to overheating and permanent damage; AC coil relays fail to pull in under DC supply.
- Not applicable for safety circuits
No forced guided contacts. Use dedicated safety relays such as G9SX for emergency stop and safety interlock loops.
