Schneider LC1D40 3-Pole AC Contactor

Schneider TeSys D / TeSys Deca series, 3-pole with 3 main NO contacts. Designed for three-phase motors, HVAC, water pumps, fans and other load control. It comes with built-in 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts (NC is mirror contact for safety circuits).

1) Setting Rule (Mandatory)

Set the thermal relay knob to motor nameplate full-load current (FLA), NOT the 40A contactor rating.

380V 18.5kW 3-phase motor: rated current ≈ 32 A → set knob directly to 32 A (full scale).

For fan-type motors, heavy starting & frequent jogging: set to 100%～105% of FLA; never exceed 115%.

Ambient temperature >40°C or enclosed cabinet: reduce setting by 5%～10%.
