Common Fault Points (Used-unit Inspection)

  1. Blank LCD: Supply voltage below 15 V or internal electronics damage.
  2. No output switching: Check Teach-in parameters and hysteresis setting; PNP output load ≤150 mA.
  3. Reading drift: Ensure no condensate in air supply; keep media temperature within 0-50 ℃.
  4. Air leakage: Damaged sealing of G1/8 thread.

PLC reads two switching signals. Alarma & equipment inhibit when pressure is too low or too high. Equipment enable only if pressure stays within 4.5-7.5 bar.

  3. Medium restricted to filtered compressed air. Not for water or hydraulic oil. Condensate in compressed air will damage sensor.
  4. W18 stands for wall-mount installation, not DIN-rail mounting. Select -H18 suffix for DIN-rail mounting.

Key-button description:

EDIT: Confirmar / enter menu

A (Arriba): OutA Channel 1, value increment

B (Abajo): OutB Channel 2, value decrement

RUN mode: Power-on default, displays real-time pressure; long-press EDIT for 3 s to return to RUN at any time.

Four operation modes:

  3. EDIT: Parameter editing (threshold, modo, unidad, password)

P2 model: OutA = Channel 1; OutB = Channel 2, dual-PNP output. Factory default: threshold comparator, NO normally-open, hysteresis HY=0.2 bar (2%FS), unit bar, password lock disabled.

  1. Pre-configuration Preparation
  2. Supply DC24 V, connect air supply. Sensor enters RUN mode and shows real-time pressure.
  3. Flashing `Lock` on display: password lock activated. Password input required before modification. Direct-access to EDIT if unlocked.

Typical usage:

Upper-lower-limit alarm: OutA for low-pressure alarm (threshold comparator NO); OutB for high-pressure alarm (threshold comparator NO).

Qualified-range detection: Single-channel window comparator, output ON when pressure stays within valid range.

  1. Method A: Manual Numeric Entry (Recomendado)

Sample requirement:

OutA (Channel 1): Alarm below 4.5 bar; threshold comparator, NO, HY=0.3 bar

OutB (Channel 2): Alarm above 7.5 bar; threshold comparator, NO, HY=0.3 bar

Configure OutA (Low-pressure Alarm)

  1. RUN → short-press EDIT, flashing `OutA`, press EDIT to enter.
  2. Select mode `_|¯` threshold comparator, confirm with EDIT.
  3. Set SP switch-point to 4.5 bar, confirm with EDIT.
  4. Set HY hysteresis to 0.3 bar, confirm with EDIT.
  5. Select NO normally-open, confirm with EDIT.

Configure OutB (High-pressure Alarm)

  1. Return to EDIT top menu, press B to switch to `OutB`, press EDIT to enter.
  2. Select mode `_|¯` threshold comparator, confirm with EDIT.
  3. Set SP switch-point to 7.5 bar, confirm with EDIT.
  4. Set HY hysteresis to 0.3 bar, confirm with EDIT.
  5. Select NO normally-open, confirm with EDIT.
  6. Long-press EDIT for 3 s to return to RUN. Parameters take effect.

Window-mode procedure: Seleccionar , then configure SPmin, SPmax, HY, NO/NC sequentially.

  1. Method B: TEACH-IN Teach-in Calibration (Fast On-site Setup)

Capture actual pipeline pressure as switch-point without manual numeric input.

  1. RUN mode, adjust air-supply pressure to desired switch-point TP1.
  2. Simultaneously press【A + EDIT】. Current pressure is saved as TP1 for selected channel.
  3. Adjust air-supply pressure to second target TP2, press【A + EDIT】again to save TP2.

Threshold-comparator mode: SP is calculated as mid-value between TP1 and TP2.

Window-comparator mode: TP1 = SPmin, TP2 = SPmax.

  1. Long-press EDIT to return to RUN.

For OutB teach-in: Use【B + EDIT】key combination.

  2. Short-press EDIT under RUN mode. Scroll with A/B keys to find `Lock`.
  3. Press EDIT to enter sub-menu:

Unit selection: bar / kPa / psi; bar preferred for industrial applications.

Password lock: 0 = lock off; 1-9 = lock enabled. Password required before entering EDIT.

When password lock is enabled, `Lock` flashes upon entering EDIT. Input password with A/B keys and confirm with EDIT to unlock.
