CP1H-XA40DR-A-EDU: OMRON Sysmac-CP1H compact PLC CPU with built-in analog I/O, sortie relais, for educational laboratory training. Its commercial counterpart is CP1H-XA40DR-A. The suffix-EDU stands for Education version. Hardware is identical, firmware and licensing are oriented for teaching scenarios.

Analog range options: 0-10V, 1-5V,-10-10V,4-20 mA. Power-cycle the PLC after parameter configuration for settings to take effect.

2.2 Entrée numérique (Naufrage / Sourcing selectable)
COM: Input common terminal. Entrée coulante: connect COM to 0 V; Sourcing input: connect COM to 24 V.
Bornes d'entrée: 00-23 for DC24V signals.
2.3 Sortie relais
Independent common-COM terminals for output groups. Max.. 2 A per point for resistive loads. Free-wheeling diodes are recommended for inductive loads.
Avoid frequent ON/OFF switching; relay contacts have finite mechanical service life.
2.4 On-board Analog Wiring
4 × AI, 2 × AO. DIP-switch per AI channel: OFF = voltage input; ON = current input.
- Voltage Input: Signal positive → VIN, signal negative → COM
- Current Input (4-20 mA): Set DIP-switch ON, short-circuit VIN and IIN, feed signal to IIN, signal negative → COM
- Sortie analogique (voltage-only): VOUT to load positive, COM to load negative. On-board AO supports voltage output only, no current output capability.

- Test de mise sous tension: Apply AC100-240V. POWER LED lights normally, no error alarms. Check backup-battery condition; low battery will cause program loss.
