Inaccurate Infrared Readings

  1. Wrong emissivity setting: Polished metal has low emissivity leading to high reading; Non-metal has high emissivity. Adjust emissivity from 0.10~1.00; Apply high-temperature tape for shiny metal (emissivity≈0.95)
  2. Field-of-view spot issue: Д:S=60:1. Too long distance results in spot larger than workpiece and captures surrounding hot/cold objects. Shorten distance and ensure full spot coverage on target surface
