⚠️ Important Notes for Replacement

Compatible cutout ≠ compatible project: GXU (Vijeo Designer Basic) project files cannot be imported to ET5/ET6. Screens, tags and alarms must be rebuilt; communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP) can be retained.
Wiring: COM pin assignment differs between HMIGXU3512 and replacement models. Verify serial pin definition before power-on to avoid communication port burnout.
RTC clock: ET5/ET6 have built-in RTC, supports time retention after power loss same as original unit.
