- Important Discontinuation Notice
LC1F500 series including LC1F500M7 / LC1F500Q7 are fully discontinued.
Stock spare parts are gradually depleted. For new projects, select the replacement directly:
✅ LC1G500KUEN (Wide voltage coil 100–250 V AC/DC)
✅ LC1G500LSEA (200–500 V AC/DC)
LC1G500 shares the same current rating, but dimension differs; cabinet layout needs hole dimension verification.
- Typical Applications
3-phase fans, water pumps, air compressors, crushers, variable frequency drive mains bypass and other LV motor circuits up to 250 kW.

- Primary Direct Replacement Models (Sorted by Coil Voltage)
| Original LC1F500 Model | Coil Specification | Recommended LC1G500 Replacement | Coil Range |
| LC1F500M7 | AC 220 V | LC1G500KUEN | 100~250 V AC/DC (Most widely used in China) |

Model description:
KUEN: Standard version, 100~250 V (Top choice to replace M7)
LSEA: Advanced version, 200~500 V (To replace Q7)
EHEA: Advanced version, 48~130 V (To replace F7)
- Critical Notes During Replacement
- Mounting dimensions are not interchangeable
LC1G width is roughly 35% narrower than LC1F;
✅ To reuse existing mounting holes: Install adaptation base LA9GRFB2 (Suitable for LC1G265~500), no new drilling required.
- Accessories are incompatible; old LC1F accessories cannot be reused
Original: LA1F auxiliary contacts, LA7F mechanical interlock cannot be mounted on LC1G
New accessories for LC1G:
Auxiliary contacts: LA9G series
Mechanical interlock: LA9G970 (Horizontal forward/reversing)
- Matching thermal overload relay updated
Original matched LR9F7375; LC1G500 matches LR9G series electronic thermal relays.
- Performance Comparison
Mechanical durability: LC1F500 = 10 million cycles; LC1G500 = 8 million cycles
AC-3 rated current: Identical 500 A @440 V
LC1G Advantages: Electronic wide-voltage coil, stronger voltage fluctuation resistance, contact wear diagnosis available.
- Alternative Solutions for Two Scenarios
- Emergency spare parts solution
For urgent on-site maintenance: Purchase original stocked LC1F500 from market (Price increased, supply tight, watch out for refurbished units). Not allowed for new projects.
- Cross-brand alternative (Non-Schneider OEM)
Siemens 3RT1075, ABB AF580; Only applicable for retrofit projects, not recommended for new cabinet design.
Simplified Selection Advice
For most domestic working conditions (Original coil AC220V LC1F500M7)
👉 Preferred option: LC1G500KUEN + LA9GRFB2 adaptation base (If original mounting holes need reservation)
Service Life Parameters of Schneider LC1G500 (TeSys Giga)
- Mechanical Durability (Official Rating)
8 million cycles (8×10⁶ cycles)
Tested under no-load condition with rated control voltage.
Compare with old LC1F500: Mechanical durability 10 million cycles, slightly lower.
- Electrical Durability (AC-3, 400 V, 500 A Motor Load)
✅ Official standard reference value: 150,000 cycles (Same as LC1F500 datasheet value)
Important Remarks:
- Electrical durability is not a fixed value, affected by operating frequency, starting current, ambient temperature, surge suppression and start-stop frequency;
- Under AC-3e (Heavy-duty frequent start-stop), electrical durability will be significantly lower than 150,000 cycles;
- Under AC-4 (Inching, reverse braking), electrical durability is only 20,000~30,000 cycles;
- Under AC-1 resistive load (Heaters), electrical durability can reach more than 500,000 cycles.
- Extra Key Advantages (LC1G VS LC1F)
LC1G500 supports independent replacement of main contact assembly!
When contacts are burned out, only the contact module needs replacement instead of the whole contactor, greatly reducing long-term maintenance cost; LC1F500 does not support separate contact replacement. Once contacts are damaged, the whole unit must be replaced.
- Maximum Allowable Operating Frequency
AC-3: 600 cycles/hour
AC-3e: 600 cycles/hour
AC-1: 300 cycles/hour
AC-4: 150 cycles/hour
